Job Description
I. Provides leadership to the team and ensures business continuity in Compben 1. Monitors team’s tasks, deliverables and/or WIGs and ensures completion 2. Conducts Performance Review of team members 3. Conducts coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure team focus, cooperation and support in the pursuit of team goals 4. Ensures that team members abide by the company policies and regulations 5. Implements disciplinary action to erring team member/s when warranted 6. Create and maintains team members’ developmental plan for their individual learning and growth 7. Develops a Succession Plan for the team, and ensures the readiness of those in the pipeline 8. Ensures retention of hi-per and hi-po 4Es P 7 compben team members 9. Monitor, review and revises (if needed) the Compben Scorecard II. Manages proper payroll administration efforts for employees belonging to Levels 7-down 1. Closely monitors and ensures accuracy and timely release of semi-monthly payroll, 13th month pay, leave conversion, last pay and other compensation-related programs i. Review and validates payroll computation, signs the validated payroll registers prior to endorsement ii. Review and validates 13th month pay, leave conversion, and last pay computation, signs the validated data registers prior to endorsement 2. Conducts continuous research on how to improve Payroll Design, Structure and Systems III. Manages proper benefits administration efforts for all employees (e.g. government-mandated and company-initiated benefits) 1. Reviews the regular advisories pertaining to benefits administration prior to sending 2. Monitors the trend of benefit availment, generates reports and makes recommendations 3. Monitors contract with providers (e.g. HMO, etc.) and facilitates recommendation for renewal in a timely manner 4. Facilitate and oversees all activities relative to Tax Annualization and Alphalisting by yearend 5. Ensures filing of Alphalist and ITRs to BIR are done on time 6. Ensures that refund and payables are properly facilitated 7. Conducts continuous research on how to improve company-initiated benefits that would contribute to better retention of talents; introduce new programs if necessary IV. Administrative and Other Tasks 1. Plan and Develops an Annual Budget for GS-Wide Compensation and Benefits i. Monitors and record all Compben actual expenses (ex. payroll, benefits, compben team HLR, and misc. expenses) ii. Makes a comparative report between budget and actual expenses; analyze data iii. Crafts Compben budget for the following year iv. Makes recommendation for improvement 2. Review and revises Salary Matrix for Levels 7-down 3. Facilitates Annual Salary Review database preparation, presentation and recommendation 4. Attendance and participation in Comp.com meetings 5. Crafts / revises Policies and Procedures pertaining to Compben Programs and initiatives 6. Ensures that New Hire Orientation on Compben Module and workflow is properly administered 7. Ensure branch/area visitations for calibration and process alignment 8. Attends and make presentations during HR Mancom and Divisional meetings 9. Conducts/facilitates learning sessions and/or training cascades org-wide as needed Other Duties and responsibilities. 1. Performs other tasks as delegated by the Division Head. 2. Ensure compliance of company policies and other legal requirements. 3. Proactive in all auxiliary duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
Preferably with HR or Finance Background Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Good communication skills
