Job Description
National Business Development Director is to lead the acquisition and management of transport handling projects in the Philippine government sector, while aggressively growing market share among selected top 100 shipping forwarders nationwide. This role is key to expanding Gothong Southern’s strategic footprint and driving sustainable revenue growth in both public and private markets.
Requirements
•Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Public Administration, or related field; MBA or postgraduate studies a plus. •Experience: Minimum 10 years in logistics or shipping, with 5 years in senior-level sales or business development. •Demonstrated success in handling government transport projects and/or strategic partnerships with major freight forwarders. •Familiarity with port operations, shipping processes, and interisland logistics in the Philippine archipelago. •Strong grasp of government procurement systems, documentation, and compliance requirements. •Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills. •Willingness to travel across the Philippines for account acquisition and project supervision.
